Odd, but true: the history of MicroPyros literally begins 2.7 billion years ago with the evolution of our most important “workers”, the archaea. However, it was not until 1980 that one of the founders became a pioneer in archaea research.
The discovery of the strengths of these primeval microorganisms is one of the cornerstones of MicroPyros and is essential for the company’s role in the global energy transition. With the founding of MicroPyros BioEnerTec in May 2021, the company has taken biomethanization processes to the next industrial level.
